Make the
bends.
A flat coil becomes building-specific flashing one bend at a time. This record follows the profiles from paper diagrams and small tests through marked stock, brake work, finish treatment, and installation at the entrance and around the house and garage.
Follow the folds ↓01 · Decode the shape
Start with the
finished profile.
Small samples and printed diagrams establish the bend order, hem direction, face dimensions, and inside corners before committing long sections of coil.
Each fold changes which surfaces the brake can still reach. The paper profiles turn the final shape into an executable sequence.
02 · Scale it up
From sample
to long stock.
With the sequence proven, full-length black coil was cut, marked, bent on the brake, compared across multiple profiles, and prepared for installation.
03 · Fit to the building
Profiles become
edges and corners.
The last step tests the geometry against the actual structure: eaves, returns, transitions, the entrance canopy, and the post wrap. The completed flashing reads as one continuous dark outline.
