Start at both
connection points.
The first pass establishes the adapter, straight section, stove-top outlet, and masonry-wall thimble. With both ends visible, the connector route can be measured as one system.

Make the joints,
keep the rise plumb.
The connector end was formed for the next joint, the damper hardware was fitted, and the straight rise was checked vertically before the final elbowed route met the wall connection.
03 · First fire
The connection
becomes a system.
The closing views document the operating installation from tight, front, and room-wide positions, including the visible damper control on the finished connector run.
